And so it begins…

January 2, 2002 by Michael Boyle

Last year began with a sense of anticipation and I got laid off 10 days later. Things are different this year. First of all, I have a better job, and a better second job to boot. This feels like the year in which things will come together. In which the different threads of my life start to combine and support one another in a new way, to greater ends than I could even have imagined in 2001. Rabbit rabbit (no, I didn’t really feel like I woke up yesterday).

Happy New Year

December 31, 2001 by Michael Boyle

everyone! A hearty thanks to everyone who reads mikel.org throughout the year. 2002 will feature the 2nd anniversary of this weblog and will also mark the 7th anniversary of my publishing a personal site on the web. Two things that will come in 2002: a new more flexible design with some enhanced services built in, plus I’ll be making a serious attempt to post occasional longer articles on something approaching a regular schedule.
