FeedBurner for a bit. Not sure yet as to the extent of the service, but I think offloading the details of this stuff is a good idea. And the stuff they’re working on with Flickr seems very interesting. Extremely interesting, in fact.

Community != content. I have been fighting with librarian-types over this sort of thing for a while now, and it’s an uphill battle, not in the least because they have all the resources (and cred) afforded to an accepted academic discipline behind them. But make no mistake – understanding this is the beginning of understanding how to successfully do so-called “knowledge management”. [got there via Stewart, whose comments were right on as well]

Six Apart grows.

There have been a lot of developments at Six Apart recently. Most notable are the hiring of Barak Berkowitz as CEO (chronicled very effectively by outgoing CEO Mena Trott in Mena’s Corner) and Andrew Anker. It is very encouraging to see a company do what it really needs to do in order to succeed. And communicating so eloquently about it.
