Cam Barrett isn’t very keen

about podcasting. I have to say I share his concerns. In the past week or so I’ve been looking into podcasting and I’ve listened to a bunch of podcasts, and I just don’t get it. I see it as a novelty – fun, but ultimately not as useful or interesting as blogging. Plus, the content is invisible to search engines, doesn’t allow for hyperlinks, and frankly I don’t get any heightened sense of “personality” or immediacy than I do from people’s written blog entries.
