Elise posted referring to one of the best implementations of horizontal scrolling she’s ever seen is HOT. It took me 10 seconds to figure out why, but it’s really great.
She does it again!
And yet again it looks beautiful. Swallowing Tacks, that is. Understated, some nice subtleties – the complete opposite of the last one (which was also nice, but in a completely different way).

Being under the weather
today, I’m sitting here listening to Definitely Not the Opera on the CBC. They reviewed a new solo CD by one of my favourite singers, Sarah Harmer (who also plays with Weeping Tile). I’ve been lucky to have followed her career for years now, and it’s cool to hear that she’s doing well. The new CD is available only by mailorder or through MapleMusic.
I’d never heard of
Technocrat before today. After a quick look it looks kind of neat – like Slashdot for policy geeks and net-issues people. Like me. But I wonder who’s behind it, if there’s a particular agenda… Must go check.
