It’s a website for a Library of Congress exhibition that features pre-colour photography colour pics that were made using an intricate RGB plate system and have just now been reproduced digitally to be displayed. The photographs are absolutely amazing. Be careful – once you get sucked in, if you have any sense of history at all you’ll be entranced for hours.
