! I know it won’t work perfectly, but nonetheless I’ve experimented with a couple of the techniques noted by Jeffrey Zeldman today and settled on one method that I prefer. I’ve implemented it here (while also collecting some other scripts that I had kicking around this site), so hopefully that will help a bit. , the UK 1901 Census site would probably be pretty cool. My grandmother wasn’t born until 1903 (though I should confirm that) but my great grandparents lived, I believe, in London at the time. Hopefully they’ll figure out their site load issues quickly.
