You don’t have to be in Montreal

You don’t have to be in Montreal

to have a quintessentially Montreal experience, as meg hourihan described yesterday. “The cheeseman switched right over to English from that moment on. I insisted on French. Back and forth we went, but I wouldn’t budge a linguistical inch.”

Google Search: michael boyle

There’s been a lot of discussion about changes to Goggle’s engine, but all I know is that when I slipped from the top of the list on a search for my name, all I had to do was make sure my name was in the title, not just mikel dot org.

Weblogs are contagious!

October 31, 2002 by Michael Boyle

Weblogs are contagious!

My colleague Tamara has just started a weblog called I-Space, and although she’ll certainly disclaim the design as simply the product of a prefab template, no matter, I think it looks great. She has already imprinted her voice on her space, and I’m very curious to see how that changes over time. One of the most fascinating things in the weblog world is how writing and style change over time, from one thing to another, depending on a dozen variables at least. So welcome Tamara, and hope you enjoy this odd kind of communication!

The new orange?
