to be doing much blogging these days – at least on weekends. Yesterday was “walk all over the mountain” day, today was the first of this season’s regular Sunday pickup soccer games in Parc Lafontaine. We’ve been doing this hack soccer game for about 6 years now, and last year we merged two similar games and it’s even more viable than ever. By “hack” I mean that in true Montreal tradition, most people are exorcising some weekend-induced chemical imbalances during the game, so it’s pretty uneven. Some clean-living folks are giving it everything they’ve got, others are just trying to survive and sweat out some of the weekend’s consumption of booze.

I obviously have to learn more
about CSS and inheritance. I thought that the local stylesheet on my HD (specified in my prefs) would override a style included on a page. But textarea is defined in my local stylesheet, and I still get arial in this Blogger box.
The new blogger
ftp protocols are speedy! Wow. Only problem is that they define arial for the textarea font… and I prefer something else. Must try to adjust my local stylesheet to override that. I like Mishawaka, a monospaced font that came/comes with Eudora. Somehow I identify that with all text entry on forms etc.
What happened
to the Subhonker Filter? I feel adrift now without it.
