at Boing Boing: Technorati support in place of comments AND trackback. A very interesting use for the Technorati technology. It very well might be a viable replacement for enabling comments here, which (as most will note) has been quite inconsistent for several months. What do you (dear readers) think?

a state senator in California is attempting to block Google’s Gmail service via legislation. She objects to the targetting of advertising based on the content of email. This is one of the most ill-informed and ridiculous things I’ve heard of from a lawmaker.
