There’s already

a Technorati Tags Bookmarklet courtesy of Matt at oddiophile. Of course if you’re using many of the weblog systems available it will be superfluous – Technorati also uses post categories via your RSS/Atom feed. But if you don’t use that stuff, or if you want a simple way to give a post multiple tags, then the bookmarklet will be invaluable.

Data centric:

January 14, 2005 by Michael Boyle

Jeremy Zawodny has written a great post about the switch from a device-centered world to a data-centered world: Where will you store your data? It’s something that theorists have talked about for ages, but as Jeremy notes, it’s really happening now. For my part, I have a memory stick, my iPod, and my Treo on me almost all the time, any of which can store lots of my stuff. Currently I don’t use the Treo or the iPod for file storage, but I’ve been reconsidering that. I also have a work laptop and my home computer holding tons of stuff, not to mention my hosting service and ISP. Managing that stuff is increasingly problematic. Which version of a particular file is authoritative? Sometimes I think that soon we’ll all be running all of our data through some sort of CVS that will synch everything up no matter where it is.

When you search Google for “montreal”, one of the first ten results is for the Washington Nationals baseball team. The former Expos, that is.

Technorati Tags. Technorati now allows you to search for tags, and responds with appropriately tagged items from Flickr, del.icio.us and with Technorati itself. Amazing stuff.

Shut Up Already. A PDF you can download, print, and then give to all those loud-cellphone-talkers who try and take up as much space as possible with their inane conversations. From Aaron Draplin and Jim and Heidi Coudal.
