Billy Bragg and Wilco have released Mermaid Avenue II, the second collection of songs from the Woody Guthrie lyric archives. I got it on Friday and have listened to it a couple of times, and so far I’m very impressed. Of course, I love Billy Bragg and Wilco on their own and have since long before this collaboration, so it’s a bit of a no-brainer for me.
