I don’t know what to think about this story about John McCain’s use of a term I consider completely inappropriate. The thing that confuses me is that he did the right thing, according to this story. He worked hard to normalize relations with Hanoi. Do the actions outweigh the slur?
Interesting:
I recently opted out of Doubleclick’s tracking system through Privacy Choices which is supposed to take care of this for us. And yet, just now, when I went to CBS MarketWatch, I got an E*Trade Canada ad. How would DoubleClick know that I’m Canadian?

OK. I’m really just starting out here. I’ve been following the whole Frontier on the WWW saga for ages – since ClayBasket in fact. And I built some sites using older versions. And now I’ve finally jumped in to see what’s up with Manila and EditThisPage. And it’s pretty impressive. I don’t know what I’m going to do with this space. I think I want to keep a weblog – that I know – but what will be its tone? What will I write about? These things I’m still developing.
