Writ, FindLaw’s new

June 13, 2000 by Michael Boyle

Writ, FindLaw’s online magazine, published an article about lessons to be learned from the Microsoft case. If your company is suddenly brought to court by the US Justice Dep’t, you should read it as a sort of primer. It’s plenty interesting for other folks too though. I should also add that an old high school friend of mine is the Senior Editor – which is really cool.

I missed a couple of things

June 13, 2000 by Michael Boyle

yesterday. First is that Jezebel turned four, which is pretty damn cool. Congratulations, Heather.

The rest (for those of you that were here earlier)? Bowdlerized! Shamelessly removed. Suffice it to say that a) I think Jason Kottke has a point and I hope he isn’t shouted down; b) I like the weblogs and other personal sites that I visit regularly (mostly those on the right) as they are today; c) I don’t think that novelty or innovation is of greater value than many of the other qualities that good weblogs possess.

Just found out

June 12, 2000 by Michael Boyle

on Saturday that Furnaceface is playing tonight at Jailhouse. I can’t wait! I want them to re-release their old classic, “We love you Tipper Gore”.

Uh, those links would be

on the right. The other left.

I just added some

sites to the list to the left. I actually do use that list to check the sites I enjoy – some I check more often, some less. They’re grouped in a very rough manner according to rough links I make between the sites. So, for instance, Matt Haughey‘s site is near MetaFilter. And the Montrealers are together. Like that. It’s not a ranking of any kind.
