parodies that are so on-target they’re not even funny – they’re kind of spooky! SoYouWanna fake being an indie rock expert? is a great example of that. If it were serious, I would nit-pick that the history section is off quite a bit in ignoring the whole “import” phenomenon that existed back in the early 80s, immediately before CDs came along. I don’t know if that’s why a site like Fray makes so much sense to me, but it might be. The Great Canadian Story Engine is very different than Fray, but interesting nonetheless.
