of an uproar for the past couple of days over something known only as “IT” stemming from an article the other day in Inside. Well, as Evan Williams noticed, Mark Frauenfelder has some answers in Boing Boing today.
My question for the day
is simpler. I wonder what pighed is up to? His site says he’s an artist/illustrator at Xerox/PARC.
Amazing stuff at
edge.org: What questions have disappeared? Plus answers by tons of folks including Richard Dawkins, Rodney Brooks, Howard Rheingold, Steven Pinker, just to name a few.
If I had money
(beyond the 32 cents in my pocket) I would sue SurfWatch, CyberPatrol etc. on behalf of Jeffrey Zeldman. It’s an outrage that someone who is basically supporting his design and consulting practice by writing has to censor himself in order to not go astray of those companies’ arbitrary designations.
Whoa. The new
Titanium Powerbook looks hot. Like a Vaio, but thinner, with a bigger screen, DVD-ROM built-in, and a full complement of ports. I haven’t seen a picture yet, but there’s a story about it already at MacInTouch.
Update: Apple has updated its site with the new Powerbook. It’s hot.
