The folks who bring you Opera

have posted a clear and compelling article about why MSN doesn’t work with Opera. If correct, it is clear that MSN is intentionally sending Opera 7 (and no other browser) a version of the stylesheet that is intentionally broken. Nice.

Tom Tomorrow calls him “Bully Bill”

but Bill O’Reilly just comes across like an idiot in this exchange with Jeremy Glick the other night. Glick, it seems, lost his father on 9/11/2001 but nevertheless is against the war in Iraq. Poor Bill just ends up sputtering, asking to “cut his mic” at the end. Pathetic.

I awoke this morning to the sad news

that local Jazz great Charlie Biddle died last night at his home in NDG after a battle with cancer. I was lucky to meet him a couple of times, and see him often both around town and at his club. He’s truly going to be missed.

so writes John and Ben Snyder in a paper of the same name submitted to NARAS the other day. John Snyder is the president of a record label and a board member of NARAS, the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences. They’re the ones who bring you the Grammy awards among other things.
