I haven’t tried it yet,

I haven’t tried it yet,

but I think it’s time to look at podcasting a bit more closely. To that end, I’ve ordered an iTalk and we’ll see what happens.

Be careful with that. Don’t forget Maciej’s Audioblogging Manifesto. (If you haven’t heard it, go there now.)

Podcasting is great when it works as RADIO taken to another level. But when it’s just somebody reading their blog out loud it blows.

I got me a little rinky-dink iRiver player a few weeks ago and I’ve been checking out some podcasts, such as the Gadget Show from Australia. It, and many like it, are basically like super-low budget college radio shows. They can have pretty low production values, but on the other hand they can be fun to listen to, and because it’s on your player, its like TIVO for radio.

But again, I stay away from podcasts that are just audio blog entries.
