Glenn Fleishman

weighs in about spam. I think I’m going to start getting a lot more aggressive about my filtering. And I have to dump what used to be my primary address, but sadly is nothing but a spam-collector now. Hmmm. Maybe I should keep it.

Santa arrested

! “Canadian police, taking advantage of sweeping new anti-terrorism legislation, arrested Santa Claus on Monday on the grounds that he had a beard, was behaving suspiciously and, in all likelihood, belonged to a underground cell.”

Mr. Dave Winer

Mr. Dave Winer

waded into it again, something he seems to do awfully regularly. This time it’s about his Scripting News Awards. Cam has a problem with it, and there’s a a thread in MetaTalk about the whole thing. Personally, I don’t care about any of the awards for weblogs. SXSW is moderately interesting, but more in a “let’s cheer them all on” way than this or any of the other small “awards” that are handed out each year. At the same time, though, I know that some reaction to this whole thing is going to prompt Dave to write something that makes me cringe. It’s like watching Three’s Company or something – it’s just so predictable.
