I recently opted out of Doubleclick’s tracking system through Privacy Choices which is supposed to take care of this for us. And yet, just now, when I went to CBS MarketWatch, I got an E*Trade Canada ad. How would DoubleClick know that I’m Canadian?

OK. I’m really just starting out here. I’ve been following the whole Frontier on the WWW saga for ages – since ClayBasket in fact. And I built some sites using older versions. And now I’ve finally jumped in to see what’s up with Manila and EditThisPage. And it’s pretty impressive. I don’t know what I’m going to do with this space. I think I want to keep a weblog – that I know – but what will be its tone? What will I write about? These things I’m still developing.
