The Globe and Mail

January 17, 2005 by Michael Boyle

The Globe and Mail

is running a good story by Guy Dixon: How copyright could be killing culture. It’s focused on the documentary film “Eyes on the Prize”, which featured a great deal of archival footage that they only purchased 5-year rights to include. For those who follow “copyfight” related stories there’s likely nothing new in the article, but for people with more of a passing interest, the article is a good summary of the issues at play, and at stake.
