Today marks my last

March 22, 2001 by Michael Boyle

day of blissful unemployment. I’m excited about my new job, but it has been a nice vacation. And on to the next thing.

The next thing – this job I’m starting tomorrow – takes me into new turf. I’ve always worked on the indie/small-biz side of things. The new thing is with a huge company who will be looking to buy services from the sort of company that I used to work for. I wonder if they can adjust to a client who actually knows a thing or two, and has walked several miles in their shoes?

And last but certainly not least, major props to Ed Bilodeau [he’s on a weblogging break now, but you all know calebos.org] for originally putting me in touch with my soon-to-be boss.
