Last Saturday,

Ed Bilodeau marked the seven year anniversary of his weblog, now called “Designing Learning Environments”. In all of the hoopla surrounding the 5th Anniversary of YULBlog, which Ed was completely instrumental in founding, I was afraid (and I think my fears were borne out) that it would get lost that he has been doing this - and doing this extremely well - for longer than almost anyone else in Montreal. So here’s to another 7 years of Ed’s writing on the WWW!

Thanks for noticing! :)

re: yulbog, it does appear that my hiatus a while back has put me on the peripheral of things. That and the fact that I haven’t been a regular attendee to the yulblog get togethers for some time (the last time I went was, I think, just before David moved to TO).

Since I’m not really part of the community, I wasn’t too surprised that my blog anniversary went largely unnoticed. Strangely enough, I was just thinking this morning that the only people (before now) who had commented on it were not yulbloggers.

Anyhoo, tks again for writing me into the story! :)
