Four years ago,

Zeldman published his seminal article To Hell With Bad Browsers on A List Apart. Yesterday, Anil Dash wrote a nice tribute to the article and its effects on the web world.

There’s another SEO competition, this time it’s the Canadian SEO Championship and Richard Eriksson of MovableBlog is trying to win. As was the case with Anil Dash’s effort in the contest last month, Richard doesn’t have a lot of SEO mumbo-jumbo going on, just a regular post on a regular page with good, relevent content. wonders what will happen when a regular blogger competes with SEO types in a contest to see who rises to the top in a Google search for the previously unlinked phrase, “Nigritude Ultramarine.” I’m curious about the results myself.
