I guess I should go and take a look. As far as Thunderbird goes, I've become pretty partial to Apple Mail ever since I ditched Entourage, which I liked well enough as well. I don't ever include HTML in emails though - I'm just old-skool enough to consider email a pure text format. If for some horrible reason your Mac dies you at least don't have to worry about all your bookmarks and prefs vanishing; you can backup to your iDisk or to CDs/DVD-Rs, and sync your prefs/bookmarks via the Internet. And you never think it's useful until the unthinkable happens! Other than that -- Mozilla Thunderbird, cos it's the only email client I know of (correct me if I'm wrong) that allows you to do proper HTML email composition. And it has an rss reader. As a musician I've found GarageBand (part of iLife 04) surprisingly useful, and I have a full-blown recording app, Logic... A non-Mac-specific useful thing has proven to be the Griffin iTalk voice recorder add-on for newer iPods. We do a lot of client interviews and record our sessions quite unobtrusively with it.
